VMware Horizon Client Windows Install Instructions

Question:

How do students and employees install VDI on personal computers?

Answer:

There are two options for remotely connecting to a LCC Virtual Desktop.

  • Option A uses the VMware Horizon Client which offers the best, full featured experience.  It requires a one-time client installation on your computer.

  • Option B uses a web browser and works well.  It has some limitations like no support for USB pass-through, yet only requires a web browser.
