Question:
How do I get a new/replacement StarCard?
Answer:
StarCards are required for access to student computer labs, fitness centers, to check-out books and audio/visual materials from the Library, and access building doors on main campus that are not the main entrance.
(If you are looking for a Program ID please contact your Program Office.)
Beginning Nov. 15, 2021 a StarCard will be required at most building doors on LCC’s Downtown Campus. StarCards are LCC’s official ID cards, and they are available to employees and students. At this time we are not implementing this protocol at the West, East, Livingston or Mason Aviation sites.
Students will have access to the following buildings, days and times starting Nov. 15. The main doors to these buildings will remain unlocked during the following times:
- Gannon Building (GB): 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday
- GB Main Entrance: Doors near StarZone off the Washington Mall
- Arts & Sciences Building (A&S): 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 9:45 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday
- A&S Main Entrance: Doors off Washington Mall facing the clock
- Health & Human Services Building (HHS): 7 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday

To obtain a StarCard please fill out the form below. The 1st StarCard is free but there is a $15 replacement fee for students who lose theirs. If you already have a StarCard, you do not need to do anything. Beginning Nov. 15, the card access system will automatically update your access.
How to get a StarCard

Questions? Call 517-483-1200, option 2, or email lcc-starzone@star.lcc.edu.
Students should submit as quickly as possible and thoroughly read the photo requirements. Some may be rejected and they will need to resubmit form/photo.
