Question:
When I try to sign onto to an LCC computer or WiFi it says I am locked out. How can I correct this?
Answer:
When too many unsuccessful log in attempts are made the account is locked out.
If you know your password you can wait for the account to unlock in 20-30 minutes or contact the
Help Desk
to request that your account be unlocked.
If you do not know your password please see
Resetting my Password
.
If you have recently reset your password and find your account is becoming locked frequently since doing so, please see
What you Need to do After Changing Your Password
. It is likely something is trying to auto connect with an old password causing your account to become locked such as a cell phone trying to connect to LCC WiFi with an old password saved.
