Resetting my Password

Question:
How do I reset my password?

Answer:

Step One

For employees please, please make note of the following items before you reset your password:

  • Close outlook before you begin. This ensures your email won't be locked out.
  • On Campus: Please connect to your laptop to a docking station or network cable before you begin.
  • Off Campus: Please note you will have to use your old password to log onto your laptop until you come to campus, and connect to a docking station or network cable.

Step Two

You can reset your password in one of two ways:

  • Visit our Forgot My Password website.
  • If you know your password select Change My Password. Input your current password and then create a new one by clicking Change My Password on the menu.

If you are unable to do either one of the steps above please email the LCC Help Desk with the requested information below. We will then generate a temporary password that will log you into the Change My Password link. You will then be able to reset your password and correct any issues with your challenge questions. Students will need to follow these directions to log on to a campus computer before they can complete the password reset unless they use a cell phone.
