For Instructors: Ally helps identify and address accessibility issues in uploaded course materials by providing a course accessibility report, accessibility score indicators on course files, and feedback and guidance for correcting issues.
For Students: Ally provides alternative formats of course files to support diverse learning needs and preferences.

Accessibility Report provides a course-level accessibility overview and a breakdown of individual course content. The report identifies content with accessibility issues to help prioritize improvements to create a more accessible and inclusive learning experience for all students.

Accessibility Score Indicators

Accessibility Score Indicators provide a visual cue for the level of accessibility of individual course files and displayed for files created in or uploaded into D2L Content.

Alternative Formats

Alternative Formats provide automatically generated, accessible versions of course materials that allow users to choose how content is accessed and interacted with. Depending on individual needs and preferences, users can listen to materials as audio, read content on mobile devices, use an eReader, or access files using accessibility technologies.

View and Correct Accessibility Issues

View and Correct Accessibility Issues Panel provides feedback and guidance to improve the accessibility of course files. The panel identifies detected accessibility issues, explains how they affect students, and provides step-by-step instructions to make improvements.
